Owner Occupied Rehabilitation Program

The City of Bedford applied for a $350,000 grant from the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) to administer an Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation (OOR) Program. 

This is a highly competitive program, and unfortunately, Bedford was not selected for funding in Cycle 2.

While this is not the outcome we had hoped for, we remain committed to pursuing this opportunity. The City intends to apply again during Cycle 3 because we believe this program could provide meaningful assistance to Bedford homeowners who need help making critical repairs to their home.

We appreciate everyone who has supported this effort and understand that programs like this can take time and multiple applications to secure funding. We will continue working toward this opportunity and will share new information as it becomes available. Thank you for your continued support of the City of Bedford!
